PearlEx is a neutral venue: we run the exchange, but we never hold your money or sell your trip. Your protection rests on three pillars — independent licensed escrow, verified agencies, and strong data protection.
When you select a winning offer, your funds go into an independent, CBB-licensed escrow account (Thiqa) — not to PearlEx and not to the agency. The escrow provider releases money to the agency only as real milestones are met: deposit, ticketing, and completion. If the agency never secures your booking, the milestone is not met and your funds are returned to you in full.
An agency cannot place a single offer until it has been approved by our team and holds an active subscription. Agencies confirm they hold the licences required to provide travel, and they compete openly to win your demand. You choose the offer; the agency is accountable for delivering it.
Your data is governed under Bahrain's PDPL (Law No. 30 of 2018), hosted in the GCC region, and encrypted in transit and at rest. Your identity stays private from competing agencies until an order is funded. You can access, export, or erase your data at any time, and we never sell personal data.
Because money moves only against milestones, you stay protected the whole way. If you and an agency disagree about whether a milestone was met, the dispute is resolved through the escrow provider, who returns or releases the funds based on the evidence and your order terms.
